Kate Cyr graduates from Emory University in May 2015 with a degree in International Relations and Middle Eastern/South Asian Studies. Throughout college, she was a part of the Emory International Relations Association and served as an intern at NGOs and lobby firms that focused on women’s rights, education, and financial policy. She has lived in India and Turkey, and would like to work abroad in the future. In the fall, she will attend the University of St. Andrews as a Robert T. Jones Scholar to study for an M.Litt in Peace and Conflict Studies. In her spare time, Kate enjoys traveling, watching Iranian films, and rock climbing.
