Laura Bernstein currently works in New York, NY as a Program Associate at PartnerCom Corporation, a company that creates and manages advisory boards and conducts training sessions around the world to help executives attain corporate board seats. Prior work experience includes the American Chamber of Commerce in Tbilisi, Georgia.
She recently completed her A.B. in International Relations, with a minor in Economics, from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA, where she was active in the school’s Model United Nations organization. Laura specializes in resource politics, tax policy, and economic transformation in the former Soviet Union. A native English speaker, she is proficient in Spanish and Georgian, speaks limited Russian and French, and is currently learning Turkish. Following an MBA, Laura intends to pursue a career in the energy sector.
Outside of politics and economics, Laura’s other loves include musical theater, white-water kayaking, and squash. Laura is a member of 85 Broads, Emily’s List, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
